How should a torque wrench be stored when not in use?

My torque wrench fell on the floor; is the calibration compromised?

Torque wrenches are precision measuring instruments. A hard impact or fall can disrupt the settings in the internal mechanism. In such cases, it is recommended to perform a calibration check without waiting for the scheduled period.

Is the calibration certificate valid for all audits?
